Traverse

Traverse — Cookies & Local-Storage

Effective: 30 June 2026 · Applies to the Traverse website (adfinium.co.uk/traverse).

The short version: the Traverse website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, and no advertising cookies.

1. What we use. The website stores a single value in your browser's local storage — your light/dark theme preference (traverse.theme). This is strictly necessary to honour the setting you chose and is not used to track you. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), strictly-necessary, non-tracking storage of this kind does not require consent.

2. What we do not use. No Google Analytics or other analytics cookies; no advertising or social-media tracking pixels; no cross-site trackers; no fingerprinting. The site loads no third-party tracking scripts.

3. The support form. If you use the contact form on the Support page, the information you submit (your email, chosen topic, message, and optional name) is sent to us solely to answer you, and is handled under the Privacy Policy (A1). The form uses a hidden "honeypot" field to deter spam bots; it sets no tracking cookie.

4. Managing storage. You can clear the theme preference at any time through your browser's settings; the site will simply fall back to your system theme.

5. The app. This statement concerns the website. In-app data handling — including HealthKit data, your account and analytics — is described in the Privacy Policy (A1).
