Traverse

Traverse — Health Data Disclaimer

Effective: 30 June 2026 · Version: 2.0 · Presented during onboarding and available on the website and at Settings → Legal.

Please read this before you use Traverse. You must acknowledge it to continue.

1. Traverse is a wellness and information tool — not a medical service. Traverse helps you read and describe your own health information. It applies published reference ranges to the data you provide and narrates, in plain language, what your data shows relative to your personal baseline and the profile you declare. That is all it does.

2. Traverse does not provide medical advice. Nothing Traverse shows you is medical advice, a clinical opinion, or a recommendation. It is descriptive information about your own data.

3. Traverse does not diagnose, monitor, predict or treat disease. Traverse does not tell you whether you have a condition, does not track or monitor a condition for clinical purposes, does not estimate your risk of any condition, and does not recommend or assess any treatment, medication or dosage. A description that a reading is "outside the expected range" is a statement about numbers against a reference range — it is not a finding that anything is wrong, and not a clinical assessment.

4. Traverse does not evaluate your health. It will not tell you that you are healthy or unhealthy, better or worse, improving or declining.

5. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. For any question about your health, symptoms, conditions, medications or test results — and before making any decision based on what you see in Traverse — speak to a doctor or other qualified professional. Do not start, stop or change any treatment based on Traverse.

6. Traverse is not for emergencies. Traverse does not monitor you in real time and will not alert you to an emergency. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately (999 in the UK, 112 in the EU, 911 in the US).

7. Accuracy depends on you. Traverse's descriptions depend on the conditions, medications and demographics you declare and the data you provide. If those are inaccurate or incomplete, the descriptions will be miscalibrated. Traverse cannot detect this.

8. The data and reference ranges have limits. Reference ranges from published research describe populations, not individuals. Your readings may fall outside a range for reasons that are entirely normal for you, and within a range when something nonetheless warrants attention. Only a qualified professional can interpret your health in context.

9. No guarantee. Traverse is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it is error-free or fit for any particular clinical or diagnostic purpose, because it is not intended for any such purpose.

10. Traverse is for adults (18 or over). Traverse presents interpretive information about your own health data — the judgement of what that interpretation means, and any decision you take in light of it, rests with you. Exercising that judgement calls for adult capacity, so Traverse is intended for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please use Traverse only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who must read and agree to this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service on your behalf and supervise your use. Dedicated support for younger users is planned for a future release.

By tapping "I understand and agree," you confirm you have read this Disclaimer, that you are aged 18 or over (or are using Traverse with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees on your behalf), that you understand Traverse is a wellness and information tool and not a medical device or medical service, and that you agree to use it accordingly.
